Weekly Sunday Gathers (and brunch afterward!)

Weekly Sunday Gathers are sacred events to connect with our divine selves within, with each other and with something larger that connects us all. We do this through guided meditation, music, meaningful spiritual practices, reflection & goodwill wishing, and we also bring in guest speakers for learning talks. After our Gather, we enjoy each other's company and conversation over yummy brunch in the Shine Restaurant.

The Gather itself starts at 11:15 am and goes to 12:30 pm. A donation amount of your choice is greatly appreciated. When you arrive at Shine, head to the back room which is the Gathering Place, and that's where you'll find Sacred House. Seating is provided, or bring a pillow if you like to sit on the floor. Dress is casual and comfortable.

After the Gather we head out into the restaurant to socialize and eat together from Shine's delicious brunch menu. The charge for brunch is based on what you pick from the menu. Shine offers local, organic, holistic comfort food made from the heart, and they also make these amazing, magical non-alcoholic potions that are yummy and good for your soul. They work directly with farmers and host numerous events that support community. Their goal:  When you support Shine, you support local community. Sunday, June 21st:  Walking Meditation. This Sunday, we'll walk into the center within by practicing walking meditation. Come practice, then translate the practice to the outdoors and to your own home, plus see how it fits with your own unique spiritual style. 

Sunday, June 14th:  The Power of Deep Silence. Take a moment, take a breath and go deep. We'll explore practices of silence from various spiritual paths and see how they fit with our own.

Sunday, June 7th: How to Create Your Own Recipe for Spirituality. Come join in our step-by-step process to create your own recipe for spirituality and to set the stage to fill in this recipe with more and more clarity over time.  

Sunday, May 31st:  No Gather this Sunday, our next Gather is Sunday, June 7th. See you then!

Sunday, May 24th from 11:15 am to 12:30 pm:  Filipino Earth-Based Spirituality.  In the spirit of our nature-based May theme "Earth Tree Dirt Love Love Love", come explore indigenous Filipino earth-based spirituality and learn a spiritual practice. In turn, shed light on what helps you connect with something larger in your own spiritual style. 

Sunday, May 17th from 11:15 to 12:30 pm:  Grow your Life Purpose.  At Sacred House, we view the recognition and expression of life purpose as a spiritual practice. Come participate in activities discover and celebrate the life purpose in each of us. "Life Passion & Purpose" is one of the eight explorations to create your own personal spirituality in our Sacred House Spiritual 8 workbook. Once a month we delve into one of the eight explorations to help us each strengthen our own unique connection with something larger that connects us all.

Sunday, May 10th from 11:15 am to 12:30 pm: Mother Earth and Other Holy Mothers. It's Mother's Day and what better day to stir up the divine feminine in all of us with a practice to activate divine Mother Earth in all of us, and then additional spiritual practices for the divine feminine in other spiritual traditions. Which other holy mothers will we celebrate and invoke? Come this Sunday to find out ;) 

Sunday, May 3rd from 11:15 am to 12:30 pm:  How to Hear Wisdom from Deep Earth. A spiritual practice to get guidance from nature right in your own backyard. Come practice it on a question or challenge that you have in your life right now, and then tailor to your own style.

RECENT GATHERS...

Sunday, April 5th from 11:15 am to 12:30 pm:  The Essence of Easter for All Spiritualities. This Sunday we'll dive into the original essence of Easter and discover how it applies to our own spiritual practices. For more on this Gather, visit our blog post here. 

Sunday, April 12th:  It's our Mid-Season Break which means there's no Gather this Sunday. We return on April 19th with weekly Sunday Gathers. In the meantime, visit this week's blog post to enjoy a moment to pause and re-fill your well yourself :)

Sunday, April 19th from 11:15 am to 12:30 pm:  Another amazing Big Collaborative Field. The return of a powerful spiritual practice for discovering unexpected door-opening opportunities, connections and coincidences in our group. We had such an amazing time with it a few weeks ago that we're doing it again! Read all about it on this week's blog post here. 

Sunday, April 26th from 11:15 am to 12:30 pm: Earth Tree Dirt Love Love Love. We'll do two spiritual practices to connect with something larger via recognizing our connection with nature and we'll also identify our individual styles for continuing these kinds of practices in our daily lives.
